Bilecik, lying in the green fertile lands of the river valley, is the eastern neighbor of Bursa in Marmara region. Yenipazar
Yenipazar is a district of Bilecik. This region is formerly known as "Kırka" in history. It was attached to Gölpazarı district, which was made a district in 1926, and became one of the districts of Bilecik in 1988. Its distance to the city center is 74 km. Yenipazar, which has a varying climate, is affected by the continental, Mediterranean and Black Sea climates. Mostly continental climate is active in the region. The district is surrounded by mountainous lands. The people of the region earn their living from agriculture and animal husbandry as job opportunities are limited. Oak, pine and linden trees are seen as tree species and these trees are generally found in mountainous regions.
